Journalists, NOT

The press corps incident at a Romney interview showed the journalists attending had conspired together on one question to make sure it got asked no matter who Romney picked. During the interview, they asked the same question 6 times. Then we find out that collaboration is acceptable practice. The rest of us thought that these "journalists" had their own questions and fought each other to get their question asked. Evidently many of us were wrong. They are all on the same team and if they do not like you, then they will try to tear you down. The reporters are all in obama's pocket, so their only goal is to try to make Romney look bad, not report news, or collect facts.

Wrestling and Posing

So, all of a sudden the Libyan government comes up with four people that may have been responsible for the murders of our diplomats and servicemen. I find that very questionable. Unfortunately, U.S. leadership will probably accept that response and try to smooth things over. I suppose we will still give them 1.4 billion in tribute, not aid. This reminds me of wrestlers posing and ranting and raving, but it is just faking around for the audience.

Paying our Tribute to Islam

The last few days have been interesting and a disaster. Here it is September 13th and the atrocities keep going. I believe there are now 6 embassies in the middle east that are in the middle of being invaded, which is the same as invading this country. In Libya, we have four people dead. We have been fighting islam in one way or another for a very long time. Back in the 1700s, our ships were being attacked and looted by barbary pirates. Yhese pirates were really working for the sultans of the Barbary States. They would give back the people they kidnapped if paid. Most of Europe was sending them tribute each year in order to avoid these actions. The United States, being a new country, must have seemed like a new place to get profit and tribute out of. In 1784, they started attacking American ships. In March 1785, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams went to London to negotiate with Tripoli's envoy, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman (or Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja). Upon inquiring "concerning the ground of the pretensions to make war upon nations who had done them no injury", the ambassador replied: "It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise." The only difference between then and now is that our leaders do not have the balls to fight back. They would rather pay tribute. When we send these nations money for aid, in their opinions that is not a gift from us to help them. No, it is tribute. Thomas Jefferson did not pay tribute, he eventually sent the marines. Now though, we pay.

Conspiracy in Aurora

  OK, maybe there is not one.  It does get attention though doesn't it?
I was reading an article yesterday concerning the shooter in Aurora.  The article seemed to be a little out there at first, but then it does raise some questions I would like to hear answers for.
  The news says that this guy was a really smart student and had a great future going.  In fact the only thing they had a record of him for was a traffic ticket.
 The equipment he used was not cheap.  The body armor is expensive if you can get it.  The weapons are not cheap, and a lot of ammunition costs a lot of money.   At least more than is available to most students.
He had never been in the service, so where did he get any training for this stuff?
Maybe ther is nothing to this, but it is curious.

Banning Costumes in Theaters

  Actually, on the surface, I do not care about this.  However,  this is just another useless idea they think might curb violence. WHAT?   I do not care for costumes, but if they ban them, they will soon run into problems.  If I am at a theater, or anywhere else for that matter, and some woman comes into where I am in one of those Burkas, then I will be creating a problem.
No one is allowed to check them hardly.  They can hide anything in those robes.  You cannot really tell if it is a man or woman anyway.

Gun Control Morons

Many of us knew that the killings in Aurora would cause all the
anti-gun groups to climb up on their soapbox.  For some reason, they still believe that outlawing guns will solve all the problems.  I have a few problems with that thought.
  Having a weapon to protect my family and myself is my right, guaranteed by the Constitution. Under no circumstances will I give that right up. There are evil and crazy people in the world.  That will always be the case.  You cannot change it.  I guess we could drug everyone into submission.
  Anyone willing to read a little history can quickly see what happens when weapons are taken from citizens.  They become slaves and do what they are told or die. I am not exaggerating, it is the truth.
  It appears to me, that civilized standards keep advancing, maybe improving, at least on the surface.  I do believe that civilization is actually a thin veneer covering the real nature of humans. 
No, not a negative attitude, just what I believe.  Most people like this and are nice and reasonable.  They want as safe an environment as possible.  For the most part, in this country, that works.  It does not always work though.
  Evil and crazy people will get a weapon.  Guns will always be available to the "bad" guys.  So are knives, rope, poison, hammers, toothbrushes.....A weapon can be made out of anything and it does not take a lot of brains.  All it takes is for one evil or crazy person that wants to hurt someone.
I will keep my firearms to protect my family and myself from these types.

Destruction of America

  I have not written much over the last year or so.  I figured it was the "safe" way to be.  Then I got a note from an acquaintance saying that to remain quiet and silent is to accept the chains of servitude.
After thinking that over I realized that if there was a "watch" list, I was probably already on it.  Also, my founding-father heroes would be considered anti government and probably locked up if they were here now.  I am too old to fight and not healthy enough to make a difference if it came to that.  All I have is my opinion and a love for our way of life, as it used to be.
So, if they have a place for me in one of those internment camps, here I am.  You usurpers of the American Dream and Christianity are safe from me physically, but I will no longer be silent, and you can kiss my ass.

Immediately after 911, I stated that the Islamic terrorists had won.  I had friends and others jump me about stating this, but they did not see where I was coming from.
  We were not conquered, we were not destroyed.  What they did do though was give our political right and left, liberals, socialists, communists, and all anti-Constitutional types an excuse to attack us from within.
  It worked well.  We got Homeland security, TSA, VIPER squads, laws limiting our freedoms, and normal American patriots designated as homegrown terrorists.  We have cameras and microphones everywhere, watching and judging.
  There is so much wrong that is going on in this country against the citizen.  So much it is difficult to know where to start, and some of it so extreme that it is difficult to believe it is going on.
  As I go on through here, commenting on what I see going on, please feel free to comment, disagree, or agree.  By all means though, if you see something here that ticks you off or surprises you, research it.  Look into it and do not take any one's word on truth.
 

Behind the Times

  That's me, behind it all.  Over the last few months, I healed up, found out that they would not let me go back to Afghanistan because of health, and found a job. Ugh
On the plus side, I did not really want to go back.  We also moved and found the nicest group of friends in this area that I have ever known.  So I guess it turned out good.
